cross stitch

Bring
the needle through on the lower right line
of the cross and insert a little bit up
and to the left, taking a stitch through
to emerge on the lower line. Complete the
upper section of the cross as shown. When
working free cross stitch, the legs of the
crosses do not cross at right angles and
they are not of even length. However, as
in counted cross stitch, the upper half
of each cross should lie in one direction.
